States and Capitals Games Bundle includes six  fun games for learning the  names, locations, capitals, and abbreviations of the 50 states of the US. The easiest way to teach the states and capitals is to introduce them one region at a time. The six regions included are the Southeast, the Northeast, the Midwest, the West, and the Southwest.

Then when your students have mastered the states and capitals in all 5 regions, they can play 50 States Showdown to review all 50 states at once. Each game includes full directions, numbered maps of the U.S. or of the region, task cards, and answer keys.

There are three variations of each game included in the States and Capitals bundle: Find the States Showdown, Name the States Showdown, and States and Capitals Showdown. All three games can be played as a whole class activity, with partners, in cooperative learning teams, or in centers.
