November 25th Update: The blog hop and giveaway have officially ended. But for a limited time, you can still get the two teacher products described in this post for free!
Thanksgiving is next week, which means it’s time for the annual Sharing our Blessings blog hop and thank you giveaway! Fourteen bloggers are participating this year, and each blogger is giving away a $25 gift card. The winner can choose between a TpT gift card, an Amazon gift card, or a DonorsChoose gift card. That’s $350 worth of gift cards and 14 chances to win! All of us are grateful for the blessings we’ve received this year, and we want to spread a little joy by sharing our blessings with others.
What I’m Thankful for in 2025
Before I share the details of the blog hop, I want to share why I’m feeling so blessed right now. I’ve always been extremely healthy, so I was shocked last July when I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. After examining my options, I decided to have a double mastectomy with reconstruction. The mastectomy took place on August 5th, and I woke up fully alert and feeling great! I expected to be in a lot of pain, but that wasn’t the case at all. I went home the next day, and I recovered much faster than I would have imagined.
Within a month, I was able to resume most of my normal activities. Believe it or not, I took my first paddle board lesson less than 6 weeks later! I spent the month of October traveling through Virginia and West Virginia on a camping trip with my husband. We we went mountain biking, hiking, or kayaking almost every day, and I’m so grateful that I’m still able to do all the things I love!
A photo is worth a thousand words, so I decided to share a few recent photos to illustrate why I’m feeling so blessed right now. The one of me in the hospital was taken just a few hours after surgery, and I was so happy to be alert and feeling terrific! The remaining pictures were taken over the last few months, also after my surgery. As you can see, I’m back in action and enjoying life to the fullest!

It was never my intention to keep my cancer diagnosis a secret, but I wanted to wait until I was fully recovered to share the news. I didn’t want anyone to worry about me, especially because I wasn’t worried about myself. I knew that I would be fine, and I did everything in my power to stay positive and upbeat through it all. I now start each day by writing in my gratitude journal, a practice that has made me realize how much I have to be thankful for. I just began radiation treatments on Tuesday, but thankfully, I won’t need chemotherapy. I will have the final reconstructive surgery sometime early next year, but in the meantime I just keep counting my blessings!
How the Blog Hop Works
Now on to this year’s blog hop! Each blogger is giving away one $25 gift card, and the winner can choose whether they want a TpT gift card, a DonorsChoose gift card, or an Amazon gift card. Each of us is also giving away at least one TpT product for free. A total of 24 products worth over $85 are yours to download which makes EVERYONE a winner!
Because we are giving away so many products, I created a Google checklist to help you keep track of them all. After you open your copy of the file, click on each product title to find the blog where that item is being given away. Download the product, check it off, enter the giveaway, and hop to the next blog! If you prefer a paper checklist, you can download a PDF version of the Google checklist and use the blog hop links at the end of the post to find the products. Keep the checklist nearby as a handy reminder to grab all 24 products!

Read on to learn about the two resources I’m giving away, and sign up here to get both of them absolutely free! You’ll also be signing up for my Candler’s Classroom Connections newsletter when you request these items. If you’re already on my email list, don’t worry. As long as you use the same email address, you won’t get duplicate emails from me.
